“Monochromatic”

Virtual Exhibition

Photo Trouvée Magazine is pleased to announce an international open call for a virtual exhibition. We are looking for artists who work with or are inspired by vintage found or family photographs in any media and at any stage in their career.
Submitted works should respond to the theme “Monochromatic”. This theme can be interpreted in any way that you wish but works submitted should use one main color in a variation of shades (black and white from a photograph does not have to count as the main color).

Deadline to apply: July 31st, 2023
Exhibition Dates: September 2023 (exact date TBD)

Format: Please submit your images in the following format: High Resolution JPEG, 300 DPI, FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME_TITLE (Please note that we will not consider files that do not follow this format).

Entry Fee: 1-3 Images $10, 4-5 Images $15

You may submit 1-3 images or 3-5 images, 300 DPI, well cropped & well lit. Please be sure to submit works that are suitable for a virtual exhibition format (2D only). The exhibition will be hosted on our website using a virtual gallery platform and selected artists will receive a social media feature and be included in an exhibition catalog.


Important: After completing the submission fee you will receive a PDF with instructions and a link to fill out the form with your submission. Please note that we will not accept submissions via email. Please make sure you fill out the form prior to the deadline July 31st, 2023 at 11:59PM EST.

*All artists will be contacted via email once decisions have been made no later than end of August 2023.
